The Original HD-1 bass guitar amplifier head from Ashdown offers a number of benefits compared to other amp heads. For starters, this amplifier is extremely lightweight and small enough to go anywhere, whether it's a living room jam session, rehearsal with the band or a sold-out gig. Boasting 300 Watts of power, the Original HD-1 is capable of gigantic sound output but also comes fitted with a headphone jack so you can practice in private. Of course, you can also hook up a solid speaker cab to rock out.

Find Your Sound

The bass, mids and trebles reproduced by the Ashdown Original HD-1 can be easily dialled in via the on-board 5-band EQ but, to give you better tools to dig up the perfect sound, this amplifier also comes with controls to adjust the low mids and low highs. Also, since they wouldn't want you to end up with any unwanted distortion, Ashdown have included a VU meter as well.
